EVE’S APRON – Doll Clothes Free Crochet Pattern

Using White yarn, start with an adjustable slip knot (a standard slip knot but made by pulling up the tail end rather than the working yarn, so the loop reduces when you pull the tail),

Eve's Half Pinny Free Crochet PatternR1. ch4 (counts as first dc), 6dc in the 4th ch from hook, turn (7) Tug the tail end to close the gap.
R2. ch1 ( turning ch does not count as st), work sc in each st back across, turn (7)
R3. ch1(turning ch does not count), [sc, hdc, sc],
sl st, [sc, hdc, sc], sl st, [sc, hdc, sc], sl st, [sc, hdc, sc] (15)
R4. ch1, turn to work across the top, start with sc around the post of last sc made, sc around the edge of next row down, 2sc along the edge dc post, sc in the centre ch st (the ch you first worked 6dc in to), 2sc along the other edge dc post, sc x2 along the next 2 row edge posts, ch25, fasten off (9 sc stitches and 25 chains for the first tie strap).

Join yarn to the other corner of the top edge and ch25 for the second strap, fasten off and weave in ends.
